Ford just announced today a $1,000 cash back reward on most Ford new cars and trucks. This also covers both 2007 and 2008 model year vehicles. With sales down this past summer Ford is looking for a new campaign that is straight forward and clear to get consumers back into showrooms. It is very surprising to see them include 2008 model year vehicles. Generally, a manufacturer will have big sales and incentives on the previous years model, not the new incoming year. Moving older models off the lot to make room for the new models is common as we enter what is commonly considered car buying season. Ford is also still offering 0% financing on 60 month loans for select trucks, which it is having a hard time selling.
